We highly recommend renting a car to explore all that Los Angeles and its unique neighborhoods offer.
LA's Metro Transit Station recently opened in June 2025. This station connects LAX to the rest of Los Angeles' metro transportation system. If you're feeling up for a public transportation adventure, take the free LAX Shuttle that takes you between LAX terminals and the Metro Transit Center.
From LAX: If you're meeting up with friends or family and just need transportation to and from the airport, consider taking the FlyAway to the Van Nuys or Union Station.
It's our favorite method of going to and from LAX, as long as you can catch the bus on time.
From LAX: LAX-it (pronounced LA Exit) is the new way to get to your Taxi, or ride app services (Uber, Lyft, etc). Walk or catch the free shuttle outside baggage claim on level one to LAX-it.
From BUR: The pick-up point for ridesharing companies is located at the ground transportation island across from the Terminal B entrance.

If there's anything Chu and I know how to do well, is eat. Depending what neighborhood you're in and what kind of food you like, we'll have plenty of recommendations for you. In a pinch, we always recommend The Infatuation LA, it has yet to steer us wrong.
